Gulf to Bay Sotheby’s International Realty owner, Rich Taylor has specialized in the luxury real estate market of Boca Grande, Florida, since 1995. He joined Gulf to Bay Properties as a sales associate and began building long-term relationships with his clientele based on integrity and dedication.
In 2003, he formed a partnership and purchased Gulf to Bay Properties. A year later, Rich sought to align the firm’s achievements with an international real estate brand that mutually benefited his clients and their residential enclave to their full potential. He selected Sotheby’s for its impeccable reputation and like-minded culture.
In having the good fortune to be among Sotheby’s International Realty’s first regional affiliates, Rich wanted to share the partnership’s success and became a strong advocate for the brand’s expansion into similar markets. To this day, Gulf to Bay Sotheby’s International Realty continues to earn the highest market share of real estate sales in Boca Grande, an exclusive community on Gasparilla Island off the west coast of Florida.
Rich’s passion goes beyond his business. He has been instrumental in several improvement projects in the community such as assisting in founding a charter school in Boca Grande. A parent of three young daughters at the time, Rich understood it was important that local children have the opportunity to attend school on the island. Founded in 2000, the Island School for grades K-5 instantly became an integral part of the community and continues to thrive.
Rich is also an avid supporter of the Coral Creek Airport and its Boca Grande Jet Center for private aircraft. Through his marketing and promotion, the facility has not only increased memberships to remain operational, but to expand. The service provides an immense convenience for residents and visitors alike.
