Hollins, who helped develop Cypress Point Club, played a vital role in promoting women's golf and was a driving force behind the establishment of women's tournaments at Pebble Beach. The Pebble Beach Championship for Women was held at Pebble Beach from 1921-1951 with Marion winning an astonishing 7 times and coming in runner-up of the tournament another 6. 
 

2. Women's Amateur Championships:

In 1940 and 1948, Pebble Beach Golf Links hosted the US Women's Amateur Championship. This prestigious event attracted some of the most talented female golfers of the time. Notably, the 1940 championship was won by Betty Hicks, who triumphed over the challenging Pebble Beach course to claim the title.
 

3. AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am:

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, one of the most beloved PGA Tour events, has taken strides in promoting women's golf. Nancy Lopez and Marianne Bretton, were the first women to participate in this fun event, back in 1977. Since then, there have been many celebrities including Kelly Rohrbach, Condoleeza Rice, Heidi Ueberroth who have played recently.
