The town is buzzing with cheer as we prepare to celebrate the holidays with our loved ones. For us, the holidays stir up a strong sense of dedication to our community. In the spirit of giving, Canning Properties Group sponsored a family through the Boys & Girls Club of the Monterey Peninsula. The Boys & Girls Club has served over 30,000 local members by providing life-changing mentorships and programs to build a safer and healthier community. Visit:www.bgcmc.org to learn more about ways to get involved with this important organization. As our town’s focus shifted toward the holidays this week, the market was relatively quiet with 1 closed escrow and 3 new sales.
Pebble Beach had a slower week with 1 new sale – a 70’s-built fixer in the Upper Forest on the market for just 1 week (list price: $980K). There were no closings to report in Pebble this week.
One home closed escrow in Carmel this week and there were 2 accepted offers: the closing was a partially updated home on a large lot in Hatton Fields which sold for 13.8% off list price at $1.03M (DOM = 23) and the new sales consisted of a contemporary multi-level home with ocean views near the beach (list price: $5.95M, DOM = 134) and an exquisitely remodeled modern home in the Golden Rectangle with views of Point Lobos which went into escrow off market (list price: $3.995M).
