Throw on your Lederhosen and lace up your dirndl – Monterey Bay Oktoberfest occurs this weekend at the Barnyard in Carmel.  Events are underway Saturday, September 14 from 12-6PM.  Enjoy German beer, Bavarian food, the crowning of Miss & Jr. Miss Oktoberfest, keg races, and a stein holding contest with our sunny late summer backdrop.  One of the most famous celebrations in Germany and the largest festival in the world, the Oktoberfest tradition is all about fun.  To purchase tickets visitwww.oktoberfestmontereybay.com.  Enjoy!

Pebble wound down this week, clocking in just 3 closed escrows and no new sales.  Closings included a polished Contemporary cabin in the Macomber Estates neighborhood which sold for $4.6M (a 11% discount off most recent list price or 20% off original list price) after 8 months on the market, an updated ‘70’s-built ocean view Contemporary in the Upper Forest (sale price: $1.78M, 6% off list price, DOM = 44), and a remodeled vintage hacienda near MPCC sold for just 1% ($1.333M) off list price after 3 weeks on the market.

Canning Properties Group is honored to represent the sellers of the new escrow in the Preserve this week – a striking hacienda style compound sited on 3.5 acres overlooking the 8th Fairway (list price: $5.995M, DOM = 844).  There was no other activity to report in the Preserve this week.
