With a week full of sunshine and temperatures warming up to the 70-degree mark, the Monterey Peninsula set the stage for a beautiful Easter weekend. Be sure to hop over to the 22nd Annual “Breakfast with the Bunny” at Devendorf Park in downtown Carmel by-the-Sea for pancakes, face-painting, and activities Saturday morning (3/31) at 8:30 AM. The Team wishes you a happy and safe holiday weekend. As always, a few updates from the week below:

Pebble Beach saw the most market action this week with three closings and five new sales. Canning Properties Group is honored to represent the buyers of the top closed escrow in Pebble Beach – a newly constructed custom smart home with views of Bird Rock and Cypress Point Club (sale price $7.55M; 11% off list price). The remaining two closings in Pebble this week were a Cape Cod style home in Country Club West selling just over list price at $1.62M, and a newly constructed Contemporary in the Upper Forest region at 4051 Costado Road closing for $1.25M (130 DOM). New sales included a custom-built home at 3011 Cormorant Road listed at $2.999M on the market for less than two weeks, a condominium at 39 Spanish Bay Circle located between the 13th and 14th fairways ($2.998M list price), a Mediterranean at 3053 Forest Way listed at $1.895M on the market for six days, a 70’s-built remodel in the Upper Forest listed at $1.1M, and a rancher in Country Club West at 2864 Forest Lodge Road on the market for three days ($1.095M list price).

In addition to representing the top closed escrow in Pebble, Canning Properties Group also had the top closing in Carmel this week – 26317 Scenic Road, an iconic stone cottage boasting spectacular views and charm on two corner parcels, closed for $7.5M (11% off list price). Other closed sales in Carmel included a Carmel Point oceanfront home at 26405 Scenic Road closing for 5% off list price ($6.59M), and a downtown Carmel by-the-Sea condominium at Mission & 3rd which was on the market for just one week selling at full price. This week there was one new sale in Carmel – an ocean view cottage in the village located at Carmelo 4 SW of 11th listed for $3.495M.

The Carmel Highlands/Meadows area saw some activity this week with two closed escrows: a dated ocean view fixer at 201 Spindrift Road on the market for less than one week (sale price $1.7M; 5% discount off list price) and a traditional home at 2950 Ribera Road selling at $1.495M (full price/off market transaction).
